I see, well it's kind of weird for NY Times to be wrong but agents are always right! ^^ The Two Princesses of Bamarre is my favorite book :) thank you for sharing your talent with us! :)
Michelle--I checked with my agent to be sure. I wish it weren't so, but this seems to be old information, even though the NEW YORK TIMES date is recent.
Britton--Length depends on what you're writing. There is no formula. Novels are usually at least 150 pages, double-spaced. If yours is single-spaced, you're just about there!
Hello Mrs. Levine,
I and my friend are writers and we've read Writing Magic over a hundred times. It even inspired us to create a Creative Writing Club in our school. Yet, I only have one question...how long are your manuscripts. I am fourteen and over the summer I began to write a novel. So far it is 70 or so pages, but I'm still writing. Are yours that long and is there a formula to find out how many pages that would be in book form?
Thank you for your help,
Britton Mills
