  1. Hi, Gail! Really hope this isn’t a bad way to ask, but I’m a huge fan of your books! Ella Enchanted was one of my favorite books, and actually turned me into an avid reader! It was the first novel that I actually enjoyed, and Ella and Areida are my favorite characters! I also really love Mandy! I read it when I was around nine years old and am now twelve years old and am a published author. I would love to be able to interview you on my blog!!! I really really REALLY love your books, and it would be really cool to be able to interview! Not sure you’ll ever see this, though, so…
    Thanks a lot!
Isabelle (btw this is my Mom’s email)

I’m delighted the blog has been useful for you! I posted to it weekly for years and finally felt that I was only saying the same old thing in a different way, and fewer and fewer writers were coming to it. I’ve been using it lately for my summer writing workshop. You may have done this already, but I hope you’ll go into the archives and use the search function to find answers to your questions. I do keep an eye on the comments, and I like that some writers are using the space to exchange ideas and support each other. I also watch out for unwelcome spam and delete it. Meanwhile, I’m continuing to write my books.

      • I have, thank you, it is really helping me get a spark for writing. ( I recently decided to seriously become a writer. ) Sorry for the outburst. I was just frustrated you had ended before I even knew about it . Honestly, I didn’t think you would see it at all, much less this soon! ( By the way I am Guest # 2991 ) I like that the space is helping me and other writers too.
