You are my favorite author!!! Ella Enchanted is what got me into reading. In third grade my teacher had Ella Enchanted sitting on her personal bookshelf and I liked the title so I decided to read it. I was fine with reading before but ever since I read Ella Enchanted I have become an avid reader(and writer). Thank you for inspiring me.

Dear Mrs. Levine,
I have commented here before but I just had to again! You are not only one of my favorite authors, but my sister's as well. When I was younger, she would read me aloud your books when we were waiting for my mom to finish work. I was only about 4, so I really didn't really know what was going on, but I clearly remember tidbits of passages from Fairest and Ella Enchanted. A couple nights ago, as I was trying to get to sleep, I remembered a particular part from Ella Enchanted; the scene at the beginning of the book when Pamela is ordering Ella about, and Ella punches her! :-D I thought it was funny that of all the particular lines to remember it had to be that one!

Estelle--I'm flattered that you liked THE PRINCESS TEST. If you are writing the screenplay for practice only, that's fine, but if it will be performed and you incorporate elements of my story, you certainly do need my permission. The way to ask for permission is through my literary agency, which is listed on my contact page. Click the Contact tab above and then click again on the next Contact tab. Good luck!

Hello. My name is Estelle. I am currently working on a screen play and it will be based on the Princess and the Pea. I adored The Princess Test and I am hoping I can use some of the tests you gave out to the princess. Such as the tuna flake on the chocolate cake. That would be wonderful. Please reply as soon as possible so I will know whether to give up or not. Thank you!
PS I am not a proffesional however I am hoping to be one. This will not be made into a movie, I am only hoping it will be.
PPS Do I really have to do a permission paper and other legal items if I want to use some similar things from your book?

I have posted here before, but I am so in love with your books I wanted to write again!

My first book of yours I read was The Two Princesses of Bamarre, and I have read it a million times since! It is by far my favorite book and I'm sure it always will be. I have also read a number of your other books, and I love them as well! I think you are by far the best author I have ever read and I just love reading your books. I especially like all the detail you put into them, the setting, the character, etc. It makes them much more interesting and adds so much that most other books lack. So, essentially, I'm a HUGE fan and look forward to reading more of your books! Thank you for all your work!
