Hi Gale! My name is Lauren. I hope you're doing well! I just wanted to let you know my favorite books of yours are The Disney Fairies series and Ella Enchanted! But my fave character of yours by far is Prilla! I felt a connection with her the moment I started reading Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg. I can't wait to read more about her! How did you create her?
I hope to hear from you soon!
God bless,
Lauren

Sarah Y.--I'm so glad you loved THE TWO PRINCESSES OF BAMARRE! Yes, I sometimes feel like giving up, but I don't, although often when I'm stuck my writing goes very s-l-o-w-l-y. Seems to me that you're approaching your writing the right way, with a respected friend to give you criticism. I'm sorry that I don't have time to help. Good luck with your trilogy!

I have all of your books excet for the fairy ones! The first book of your that I ever read was "The Two Princesses of Bamarre" and it is my FAVORITE book of all time! I saw your blog post on how you were struggling with the beginning, but I think you did a WONDERFUL job! I love Drault, by the way! The epic is so inspiring! I've had my copy of the book since I was about six years old, and I'm now fourteen! I've re-read that book so many times, it's not even funny! I did about three book report on it and entered a poster on the book in a read fair contest. My English teacher acctually borrowed the book from me, and she loved it, too! You are my favorite author, and the one who got me interested in the fantasy/mid-evil times based books. You also inspired me to write a trilogy! I'm working on the first book, and sending the chapters to my friend, who "rates" them for me. Apparently, my description is good! Yay! The plot is interesting enough, but sometime I feel like giving up! :-( Have you ever felt that way about a book you're writing? I'm considering becoming a writer for a living because I love reading and writing stuff. If you could help me, I would be so greatful.
